Hello beautiful people and I am so excited to finally share my Fall/Winter capsule wardrobe with all of you. I recently decided I wanted to have a more minimalist wardrobe closet. This way I could mix and match items I know already worked together but are also fashionable and functional. My biggest regret is not doing this sooner. Being a mother of three I have the hardest time getting away to go shopping for myself. This method allows me to go out for one evening twice a year and get my full wardrobe! Most other parts of the country you might have to do this three times a year. In Arizona, we don’t have a winter so my Fall capsule will last me until spring when I can do a Spring/Summer capsule.
For this capsule, I decided to shop at Maurice’s because they are one of the few stores that carry plus size in store. I will choose one brand over another because of my ability to try on their plus size styles in store. I am happy that more and more brands are offering plus size which is great but I wish more would being them in store and not only online. In fact two stores close to me I had to stop shopping at because they removed the plus size section for their store and made it exclusively online. So thank you Maurice’s for allowing us plus size girls the opportunity to shop and try stuff one. You have now gained one more loyal customer.
So for my capsule, I opted for 7 shirts, 3 jackets, 3 cardigans, and 2 jeans.
I didn’t get a weeks worth of jeans because I purchased some a few months prior and I didn’t need any additional at this time.
