Happy New Year Guys! Wow I cannot believe that its 2018. As you might have guessed we purchased our forever home and this year I decided I wanted to begin transforming it into our, okay maybe my, dream farmhouse. We live in Arizona and I am a sucker for a great cactus anything so I of course wanted to bring in southwestern elements to. We purchased a builder grade house. We love the close network of our area and for certain reasons with my oldest we had to stay within a certain area. So we found our perfect house. We do not have a huge budget to do everything so I will be doing most of my projects DIY to save the cost. It will be a lot of trial and error but that is what makes it fun right?
My daughter’s room was one of the biggest reasons we choose this particular house. It had a wooden accent wall and I didn’t even have to do it! I have my envision for her room but I wanted to share a few before pictures with you all. I feel it will help show the process because we will be doing all rooms piece by piece. Here is how her room looks now.
