Over the last few months, we have been finding fun ways to keep eating at home fun for both the parents and the kids. I made it my mission to find new combinations of items that the kids enjoy, and we can use for lunches and snacks. In that time, I have found some new combinations of items and even new items that the kids enjoy. I used this time to incorporate more organic items into our meals as well. I wanted to know that I was giving my kids the best I could.

One of the key items in all our meals was the bread we use. I wanted to purchase a brand that stood behind sustainability efforts and took it upon themselves to make the world a better place. That is why I choose to give my family Oroweat Organic White made with Whole Wheat Bread. Not only is their bread USDA Organic, it is also baked with renewable wind energy for a great taste that’s sustainably baked. In addition to using wind energy to bake, Oroweat Organic is USDA Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified. Now I know this great bread by the name of Oroweat Organic here in Arizona, but you may find the same great-tasting, sustainable product under the name of Brownberry Organic or Arnold Organic brands depending on your location.

I love that Oroweat Organic bread is USDA Organic and my kids love that it has Disney’s Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse on the packaging. As any mom knows to help get your kids to eat something new the best way is to have your kids’ favorite character on it. We even have Disney’s Mickey Mouse shaped bread cutters to go that extra step. I know the kids are getting the nutrients they need and they see it as they get to enjoy a Disney’s Mickey Mouse shaped meal.

As Said before I have experimented with new mixtures that the kids like and our top two favorites are very similar but with one ingredient change. My daughters go to is organic peanut butter, organic bananas and organic raw local honey. My son loves organic peanut butter, organic bananas, and organic chia seeds. I love that both are made with all organic ingredients and the kids love it. So next time you are looking for a sustainable company for your meals, be sure to check out the Oroweat Organic Bread (or Brownberry Organic or Arnold Organic brands).
