The New Year is here and with it comes all new changes. Our new change is that we got a new water dispenser for our home. After looking at our options , my husband and I decided on the Primo Deluxe Bottom Loading Water Dispenser with Self-Sanitization. One of the biggest reasons we chose this in – home dispenser is the ease of refilling the 5 – gallon water bottles down the road from our house. Being the parents of three kids, we are all about convenience.
One of the reasons we like the ease of the outdoor refill station , not only is the location , but also the fact that the whole family can help. The easy to use buttons on the station make it so that each of my kids have the opportunity to help fill our Primo 5 – gallon water bottles . My husband and I carry them to the car once they are full, but the kids love carrying the empty water bottles to the outside refill station
In addition to the ability to refill the 5 – gallon water bottle s so close to home , we chose the Primo water dispenser because of their bottom loading dispensers. Both my husband and I like this option for a water dispenser because we didn’t want the bottle to show. Thanks to Primo’s sleek design , we got exactly that. We love a ll the benefits it has to offer without having a bottle showing to our guest s . In addition to the sleek design , we went with the self – sanitizing unit. We love the ability to clean our Primo water dispenser at the push of a button. Not only do we use our Primo water dispenser for our family’s drinking water, but we also use it for our pets’ water, and cooking.
We love using our dispenser for so many reasons , including the type of water purification used. Primo water goes through a multi – step purification process that includes reverse osmosis. What is reverse osmosis? Reverse osmosis is a type of filtration process. Untreated water, like salt water or tap water, flows through a semipermeable membrane and carbon filters. The membrane filtration technology enables the water to flow through the filter, but leaves behind salt, chemicals, minerals and other impurities — resulting in highly purified, healthier drinking water that’s free from potentially harmful contaminants and also tastes great. The special membrane in reverse osmosis filters out many of the microscopic organisms and heavy metals that are present in drinking water. The purification process removes or significantly reduces the presence of chlorine and chlorine by – products, bacteria and parasites, heavy metals (including lead and mercury), trace levels of pharmaceuticals and many more contaminants.
