L’Oréal Paris EverPure Blonde

Feb. 20, 2018

I receive these products free in exchange for my honest review. For more information please read my disclosure page.

Thanks to the wonder Influenster program I got the chance to review the L’Oréal Paris EverPure Blonde shampoo and conditioner. If you do not know about Influenster they send out these things called VoxBox. Each VoxBox has items for you to review. The program is free and you get to keep everything you receive. Each VoxBox has its own set of requirements but the main requirement is that you will need to give your honest review of the product. If you are interested in trying out Influenster click here to sign up.

So in my VoxBox I received the L’Oreal Paris EverPure Blonde shampoo and conditioner (full size guys!) I am always looking for new shampoo and conditioner because my scalp is weird. Several times I have had a reaction to both shampoo and conditioners. After using them a few days I would develop a rash on my scalp where my occipital bone (the base of my scalp). I would start the search over the next time until I found something that worked. I had a hard time finding something that worked because at first the product was great and after a few days or weeks the rash would return. I have used the L’Oreal Paris EverPure Blonde shampoo and conditioner for 1 week now and I am enjoying it. It wasn’t love at first try for me because I had to do some trial and error with the amounts to use and washing the product out. Once I figured that out I have been very happy with these two products.

  • Lightweight on fine hair (I always double shampoo my hair).
  • Has a light purple hue which makes it perfect for daily use.
  • Cleans your hair on the first wash.
  • Doesn’t leave any residue on my scalp.

Cons:

  • The first two times I used these products they felt heavy in my hair. Once I got more aggressive when rinsing out the products (scrubbing my scalp and hair and sometimes doing it twice) I haven’t had any issue since.
  • The smell isn’t what you expect. It has a more masculine/cologne scent to it.
  • You need to watch the amount of product you use because it can get heavy in the hair.

In the end I would recommend this product to a friend but give them the warming that less is more with them. On my rating scale I give them a 4 out of 5 diamonds. The reason is because I had to play with the application method a bit and something without a cosmetology background might not of known how to adjust and given up on the product.

Thank you checking in with me guys and until next time xoxo,
