Our bedtime routine

Over the last eight years, I have been blessed with three children. They are my biggest accomplishment but sometimes my hardest job. Between school drop-offs, pickups, appointments, Target trips, and cooking, my days get away from me fast. There are times I go to bed and the dishes didn’t get done or the living room isn’t picked up. While my days can get crazy quickly I always look forward to our bedtime routine. I know that no matter how our day went our bedtime routine will always be a fun and relaxing time we get to spend together.

Our bedtime routine always starts with a trip to Target. How does a trip to Target incorporate in our bedtime routine? I do a majority of my shopping at Target because they carry all the items I need and I can always get in and out quickly. Another reason I enjoy shopping at Target is that they always have the products I am looking for in stock.

I received a recommendation when I was pregnant with my firstborn to use the JOHNSON’S® bedtime products and being a first-time mom I decided to follow their recommendation. Here we are 8 years later and I’m still using JOHNSON’S® bedtime products daily. I love the Relaxing NaturalCalm® aromas along with the new easy-to-use pumps. We follow the 3-step Bedtime® routine at our house.

First I run a warm bath and use JOHNSON’S® Bedtime bath and JOHNSON’S® moisture wash to clean off the day’s mess and to relax and soothe my baby. Once our bath is done we dry off and apply our JOHNSON’S® Bedtime® baby lotion. Applying the lotion is my favorite because I make a game out of it. My son loves spending time together and I like how it is now made with 50% fewer ingredients. We follow up our massage with a bedtime story and we lay for a short while in the dark cuddling. It is a great ending to a perfectly imperfect day.

Once I get my baby down for the night I start the process of getting my older two ready for bed. One of the biggest challenges I have with my daughter is brushing her hair. She is one of the lucky few who has thin and fine hair that tangles in the slightest breeze. JOHNSON’S®No More Tangles® toddler and kids detangling spray is the only way I can keep her hair under control. One of my favorite features is that you can spray it directly on dry or wet hair. Sometimes I have to re-brush her hair in the morning because she tangles it while sleeping making this feature a necessity in our house.

Over the eight years, I have been a mom I have seen a big change in the variety of products available for infants and children. I am usually the person who tries out the newest products when they are released but not when it comes to products I use on my children. JOHNSON’S® recently reformulated their entire product line. Now their products are free of parabens, phthalates, and hypoallergenic. Their new formulas provide you with that same quality product that we all know but are even gentler on your babies skin. Their redesigned line gives me one less thing as a mom to worry about because I know I choose gentle.

JOHNSON’S® took the time and listened to parents from around the world and reformulated their products, inside and out, to set their new standard for gentle. This is one of the reasons why I continue to use JOHNSON’S® products for my family.
