I don’t know about you but the holidays are sneaking up on me. I mean how is Christmas only 42 days away! Every year I tell myself I won’t be that person shopping days before. It never fails that I find myself out grabbing last minute items. If I’m real with all of you, I am a huge procrastinator. I will tell myself I have time until the point I run out of time. Well, this year I decided to make it easier of myself and avoid going out last minute.

The decision to give gift cards isn’t one I made easily. Growing up my parents always told me that gift cards were impersonal. Gift cards take away the personalization behind your gifts. As I have gotten older, I’ve accepted that I think gift cards are not impersonal. I feel that gift cards are easy to personalize based on anyone’s interests.
Giving gift cards this holiday season have helped relieve my stress and worry about trying to find the perfect gift. I know everyone will enjoy their gifts and I didn’t have to make any additional shopping trips.
