Thank you to BYUtv for sponsoring this post. As always all opinions are my own.
Television has been a big part of my entire life and lately we have been watching a lot more. I have noticed with the kids being home more it can be a struggle to find shows and channels that share wholesome and suitable for all our family members. Our kids have such a big age gap that sometimes the shows my oldest watched I don’t feel my younger two should watch. So I started to look for new shows or networks for my whole family to watch.
I found a few channels and networks that I wouldn’t of knows about if I hadn’t been searching for those particular parameters. One of them was the BYUtv network. The programming on BYUtv is designed to offer co-family viewing experience. This type of programing ensures that both parents and tweens will be excited to watch together.
The programming on BYUtv is not religious based but designed to provide purposeful and inter connective content. In addition to adding more meaningful conversations between my husband and I and our kids the BYUtv channel is FREE! I love that a free app on our smart phones has lead our family into more meaningful and positive dinner conversations.
Each family member has a favorite BUYtv show and mine is The Fixers. The over all premisis of The Fixers is “In this high-stakes reality series, the Fixers, a team of experienced builders travels around the world, working tirelessly with communities to complete life-changing projects for people in need.*” My favorite episode from season one was Shelter to Soldier, Oceanside. I cannot wait to see where The Fixers take us on their journey in Season 2. Season 2 just launched as we have already been to Alaska and Ecuador. Where else do the think The Fixers will go in Season 2? Tell me blow in the comments.
